Hello….Im Parimala Bhaskaran 1101108302…This my Assignment…In this assignment we assign to do personal webpage using Adobe Dreamweaver….So I have created my personal website…according what I study in tutorial class…Hope I done the best….
Step 1:
First of all, I click on Site > New Site, then I rename the site name to Parimala Bhaskaran.....Then I change local root folder which I put all my pictures and background that I wan to use in the Website.....
In new document, I choose the layout for the webpage....I choose 2columm fixed,left sidebar,header and footer.......
Step 3:
In this stage, I insert table in the left sidebar...there are 6 rows and 1 column to do my links in the website.....
Step 4:
In this stage, I put all the link name in the column.... Home, Biography, Resume, Blog, Picture and Also Contact....
Step 5:
In header, I put Welcome to My Website this is because I welcome people who are looking at my site...... Then in column I put my vision......this is because people will know about me when they read my vision.....
Step 6:
I this stage, I change the page background, header, footer,sidebar and also div container background.....When I change that all the page is look like the picture above....I save as index....then I link the home to the index.....so that when click on the home the index page will appear...
Step 7:
Then I create new page using the same layout.....This page I name in Biography.... in this page in contain about me I use table to put all the information because it look nice...then I hide the column and rows line....so when open the page the the line can not be seen....then I save as biography......then I link biography to index page....then in biography page I link home to index page.....
Step 8:
I use the same layout to create the resume page.....In this stage....I type resume then I link it to the word document....when click the my resume it will open the word document.....this make people who view my page will be easy....they don't have to scroll it until down.....I save as resume....then i link it to resume.......
Then I link the blog address to the blog....so that when people click to blog...automatically it will go to my blog.....
Step 9:
I use the same layout....I put my picture in this page....I also put my video....I create a video in window movie maker....then I type my video then I link it to the video that I created....when click on the my video....the video will play....at last i save as pictures....then i link it to the picture.......
Step 10:
Final stage....I use the same layout to create the contact page... In this page I use table to put my name, address,email, phone numbers... To link the email add... I go to insert > email link then i type the email address so that when click it will open the Microsoft office outlook.....then I save as contact....then I link to the contact.....
From this Assignment I learn a lot.... when I do in diploma..... I use the Macromedia....I find it more difficult then Dreamweaver cs4....I apply all the things that teach by Madam.......Hope my final look of my assignment 2 nice.....
